Nest compatibility check

Hi there! I just wanted to know if my system is compatible with Nest and if I need a C wire

I have the same wires. I have a “R” and “ RC”. What goes where?

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

 

I'd like to jump in here and check if you've seen Patrick_Caezza's response. In addition, connecting a C wire to your thermostat would give it a stable power to the battery to keep it connected to your internet. If there's an unused wire, you could use that as a common (C) wire.

Your current thermostat is only compatible with the Nest 3rd Gen Learning Thermostat. The R terminal would connect to the Rh terminal on the Nest and the RC terminal connects to the Rc terminal
