Compatibility checker online says I'm compatible, set up app says it's not.

Wiring I have: RC, R, W, Y, G, C, S1, S2, O/B

If the Rh and Rc has a jumper you do not use any jumpers on the Nest.

Do you have separate wires going to them?

S1 and S2 are not used on the Nest so those you can ignore they are for a outdoor temp sensor not needed by the Nest.

So if you only have one Red wire you put it on R

then match up W, Y, G, C, and O/B

Tell Nest you have a Heat Pump and I assume you have Aux electric heat coils?

I need to tell nest I have a heat pump? Like in the app? It's an electric heat pump. Not sure if it's aux electric heat coils though

When you hook up the wires and put the Nest on the base it asks what type of heating system you have and it detects the wires etc.

You have to make sure it detects correctly the system you have in the house so make sure it says heat pump with aux heat on W.
