My wires are labeled D, R, and B/C which doesn't appear to be an option with nest. Any thoughts on if this could be compatible?

Your thermostat is communicating with your indoor air handler digitally using a proprietary signaling. This is not compatible with a Nest Thermostat. However, the manufacturer is these systems also ensure there are conventional control terminals on the circuit board. If your thermostat cable has 5 or more colored conductor wires, you can switch this to a conventional control and be able to use a Nest Thermostat. To help you best, I need the model number of the indoor unit and the outdoor unit.

Thanks so much! It’s an American Standard hvac. The indoor unit model # is: 4TXCC007CC3HCBA and the outdoor unit is: 4A7V8036A1000BA

You very efficient outdoor unit that has a 800 Volt DC inverter that is used to power the compressor and the condenser fan. There is no ability to convert this to use conventional control. You will have stay with the thermostat you have.
