Nest displays heat but actually is cooling

I have 2 Nest Smart Thermostats, upstairs, downstairs. Both are set up identically. Both have worked perfectly for years.  

Recently the display of upstairs is incorrect. Operation is correct. Behavior is correct. Simply display is incorrect. It shows heat when its really Cooling. Both the device and the app display incorrectly Heat when actually cooling. If I ignore the orange color and the Heat display, then effectively it works fine. But it’s annoying especially when downstairs is Blue and cooling while upstairs is Orange and Heating while its actually cooling. 

I have tried a device reset and no change.
