Nest gen 1 to gen 4 wiring for pellet stove

Hello I am looking for some wiring help.  I currently have a gen 1 nest connected to a pellet stove and powered with a 24v transformer for power.  This is connected with W1, C, Rh and Rc. The 24 transformer is connected to C and Rc while the pellet stove is connected to W1 and Rh. The gen 4 nest base doesn’t have Rc and Rh.  It only has R?  How do I wire this?

If it only has the R terminal, then you don't have a learning thermostat. You have either the Google Nest Thermostat (2020) or the Nest Thermostat E, and neither supports an external 24 VAC transformer directly. But they will support one if you use the Nest Power Connector.

This link will help you verify which thermostat you have

How to tell which Nest thermostat you have
