my nest worked great! Until I went out of town. Now it’s 37 degrees by my home. The nest is completely disconnected and my furnace is off. It was something with google sending message for 3rd party approval. So now I have to travel 8 hours to manually reset it. There’s no working phone numbers to call for the product.

To isolate the main issue, I have some questions for you:

  • Could you confirm which specific Nest Thermostat you have? Please check out the following link for your reference: How to tell which Nest thermostat you have
  • When you open the Google Home app or Nest app, what is the exact status message shown for your thermostat? Does it say 'Offline,' 'Disconnected,' or something else?
