Hi.
We have installed a nest in our new house. We had one in our flat and because it was small was never an issues.
I am finding that I have scheduled the heater to come on around 6am as it gets cold but even though I set the temp around 19/20 at night the heating comes on itself around 1am, 3/4am and 5am. This is waking me and my baby up. I have played around with the true radiant too and turned it off as feel it was coming on early to warm up before 6am. Any help would be appreciated.

Our heating is also coming on outside the heating schedule. True radiant is set off. I noticed that many customers have complained about this with no response. Please advise as heating is expensive at the moment and coming on when nobody is here is a massive waste of money and fuel.

I am experiencing this as well. The heat comes on at night, even though I've set True Radiant to only have zero hours of preheating.

This is happening to me too! Really annoying

Same here, we change True radiant to 'off' and then watch the switch flip itself back on , very annoying when heating is so expensive

I managed to figure out this issue for myself - maybe it will work for you.
I thought that when I set the thermostat to "20C" at 8am, it meant that the thermostat would try to get the temperature to 20C for 8am, and that the temperature should not matter the rest of the time (because I don't have any temperature settings for the rest of the day). Then I realized that it meant "set thermostat to 20C", which means it would be at 20C all day.. hence the heat coming on at night.
I added a temperature setting to the schedule to go to 17C at night, in addition to 20C at 8am, and now the heat no longer comes on at night, since the thermostat is set to 17C at that time.
