You can create or adjust the temperature schedule of your Google Nest thermostat the way you want in the app or directly on the thermostat.
Unlike traditional programmable thermostats that simply use their fixed temperature schedule, even if nobody’s home, your Nest thermostat can also help save energy and keep your home comfortable with its temperature schedule.

Thanks Carry. I was just trying to understand whether the thermostat will adjust the schedule I set based the learning over the week. Because that's what I would like.

I'm trying and thank you as well for perfecting my suggestions. However, this user still has scheduled routines overriding Automatons. Can you help us both? He wants to know how to check what time heating starts to reach set temperature. Is there a way to check this on nest App or maybe GHA?

Yes. The auto schedule will override the set schedule.

I have noticed that even if I am away, my auto schedule is on. The manual set schedule over rides and starts heating to achieve the temp. That's fine.
I want to know how to check what time heating starts to reach set temperature. Is there a way to check this on nest App.

Hello everyone,
This is a great question. Normally, it should activate within 2 to 3 degrees from the target temperature, depending on the algorithm of your home or the previous settings that the Nest Thermostat learns from your day-to-day target temperature. This delay is commonly called the maintenance band, deadband, differential, or temperature swing. The delay is usually just a few minutes, but it's there to help your system. Preventing the system from frequently turning on and off.
There are also a couple of other settings you can choose from. Like Early-On or Heat Pump Balance.
Let me know if you have other questions or concerns.
Regards,
Renz
