My Nest learning thermostat dropped off of my phones Nest app, still shows temperature but I cannot access the required access code thru the thermostats Nest app. Says it's connected to an account.

My started going off line after i connected the c wire. I have temp display on screen, heating and cooling works manually, No battery warning. If I charge charge the thermostate with usb, it connects for short while. Then it disconnects shortly after remounting.

Hi folks,
I'm sorry to hear that you're all experiencing an issues on the Nest app. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.
@Jtan, @Carolinem233 and @CS1869, your Nest thermostats are already linked to an account, so there's no need to set them up again. Make sure you're logged in to the right email account associated with your thermostat. If so, check out this guide to look for other home structures where your thermostats might be connected. Let us know how it goes.
@Dullhook, It appears that your Nest thermostat is not holding a charge and your issue is different on this thread. To avoid confusion with what would be the troubleshooting steps, we'd suggest creating a new post with as many details as possible so we can check it for you.
Best regards,
Mark

Hi @Markjosephp and @EmersonB
The Nest seems to have calmed down since instillation. The app doesn't seem to be forgetting the thermostat as much. I think it may be to do with my dad's internet connection, which is shocking, a terrible 3MB download and 1MB upload. He is now switching off some devices and seeing which other providers have better fibre deals, as oppose to the old wiring British Telecom provides in his area.

Hi there,
Thanks for posting and for keeping us in the loop on what you've done, @CS1869. I'm glad that your dad is looking for ways to improve his internet speed, and this is to improve the connection and the Nest app's performance as well.
Checking in to make sure that you've seen our responses above, @Jtan and @Carolinem233. If you have additional questions or concerns, please do so as we will be locking this thread in 24 hours.
Best regards,
Mark
