Nest learning g thermostat

Have a nest learning thermostat that randomly starts blowing hot air when on cool.  If I unplug the unit from the wall for a minute then plug it back in it starts working correctly (blowing cold air) bringing the temp back down to where we have it set. Once the temp inside goes back up and the system kicks on to bring it back down it kicks on saying cool but blowing hot air.   Have had hvac techs check writhing and out system and find nothing wrong.  This has only been an issue since having the nest learning thermostat.

Hello PendL10,

Oh no! I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you, and I appreciate the steps you've taken. I'd love to know more about this.

Could you please share with us what the HVAC technicians diagnosis was? Also, please gather the power readings in your thermostat's Technical Info settings.

I'll look forward to your response.

Regards,
Mark

HVAC techs couldn’t  figure out what was wrong.   Nothing wrong with the wiring or my system.   After trouble shooting with google come to find out it’s a software problem on their end not a hardware problem on my end so after resetting all sorts of things and wiping the history we wait and see

Hello there,

Thanks for letting me know. How's your thermostat after resetting it? Are you still experiencing the same issue? Also, please share any support ID numbers from your previous contact with us so I can check for more possible options.

Regards,
Mark
