Hi Nicolesuzanne,

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're facing with your Nest Thermostat, Nest app, and Wi-Fi connectivity. Let's try to troubleshoot the problem together.

Firstly, regarding the thermostat's red flashing light, this often indicates a power issue that needs attention. Check for any message codes to interpret the meaning of the red light. It could be a signal for low battery, a wiring report, or a connectivity problem. Gather the power readings in the Technical Info settings. This would help us for a power-related issue.

For the Wi-Fi connectivity problem, make sure that the Wi-Fi network is functioning properly and that there are no issues with the password or network settings. You may want to restart your router and try reconnecting the thermostat to the Wi-Fi network. Ensure that the thermostat is within the range of your Wi-Fi signal.

For the Nest app, if it's offline, make sure your smartphone or tablet has a stable internet connection. Try closing and reopening the app, or reinstalling it if necessary. Sometimes, app-related issues can be resolved through software updates. Also, it might be due to low battery power that the thermostat disabled its connectivity in order to save power.

If all else fails, let me know so we can check for more.

Warm regards,
Mark
