Hello, we've been having issues with the display not clicking onto the base. We've straightened out the cables, unmounted and mounted thr trim plate and steel plate multiple times and still nothing. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

To isolate: is this a first-time installation? Are you getting any messages on the thermostat screen when connected to its base? Also, could you please share with us photos of your old and current thermostat's wiring?
