Nest lost connection

Kept getting message that not connected to wi-fi anymore. Went to a troubleshooting page that suggested deleting the Nest and re-adding device. Now it asks for the QR code or the 6-digit code. I would have to pull the **bleep** thing off the wall, which I do not think is possible. The live chat guy said to find this info on the box or invoice... both long tossed out!! He said he "feels my pain" - that's his answer!

Had to hire an electrician to install this. Am I screwed now?

Hello MizAdeleM,

I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble connecting your Nest Thermostat to your Wi-Fi network. I understand that you've already tried all of the steps in the instructions, but I'd like to take a closer look at the issue.

Could you please share with me your previous support ID number? This would help me check for other steps you haven't tried yet. Then, were you able to perform a factory data reset on it? If you haven't yet, give that step a whirl. Also, please let me know about the Nest Thermostat model you have and from what country are you posting.

I'll be happy to help you get this resolved as quickly as possible.
