Nest low battery

Thomasehughes

Just added a nest. Now it says low battery. Is there a way to see if the nest has power from the c wire remotely. It is very cold and the nest is hooked to a heat pump. I noticed some had issues during a cold snap.

Which Nest thermostat do you have?

Can you post a picture of the original thermostat wiring?

What Nest do you have the Learning or Non learning with mirror glass?

Do you have a C wire connected? Power issues are usually when no C wire is connected.

Post pics of the wiring of old tstat wiring and the way you wired the Nest.

You can also watch this video he explains the power check procedure.
