Nest not getting cold air to blow

slebourdais16

I installed my Nest thermostat and had the following wires: C, R, W, Y, G

I set the temp and it turned the AC on but the air blowing was not cold air. The air kept blowing and the temperature would not drop in my house. I am not sure how to fix this? I had to put my other thermostat back on and the AC works again.

Hey slebourdais16,

Sorry to hear about your Nest thermostat and for the delayed response.

Could you share clear photos of your original thermostat wires showing the terminal labels as well as how you wired your Nest one? Also, what system do you have?

Best,

Melba
