I followed the link to buy a new Nest that was sent in the notice from Google that my first generation Nest was no longer being supported. I assume it's 4th Generation but it doesn't say that anywhere on the labeling. Anyway, running through the steps for install and answering questions about the wiring, the Home app is telling me my new Nest isn't compatible. How could this be?
