Hello all, i just bought a nest learning thermostat and i can’t find a way from the app to set up the device to turn off for example on mondays from 9 to 11 am. Does anyone know hot to set up this feature?
Thank you

Thank you for your quick reply. I tried disabling “auto schedule” but then when i go to “schedule” there is no option for turning it off. So it is impossible for me to set up the temp to be off ob mondays from 9am to 11am for example which is when i am not home.
Thank you

Whilst it doesn't have an "off" setting, you could set the temperature very low which will turn off the thermostat?

I have just got a Nest learning thermostat. It's almost $200 for this thermostat. I am coming across this same frustration.
Why doesn't it have this very basic functionality to be able to turn it OFF at a specific time?
Just setting the temperature to a low value is very misleading and won't work properly.
What if the temperature lowers to that lower temperature at night? The furnace will kick in again.
We simply want to turn the furnace completely OFF--not a lower temperature. We use heated blankets at night and we do NOT want to keep the heating function ON at all to keep the gas bill low.
Can someone FIX this and put this BASIC feature in? I am just shocked that this $200 learning thermostat does not even have this very basic function for scheduling.
