Nest predefined intervals for sensor activation include a 10 hour "night" block (9pm - 7am). When I get up in the morning at around 6am the bedroom (where the sensor is) is comfortable and correct (65 degrees) but the kitchen (where the thermostat is) is a chilly 61 degrees.
I've taken to manually redirecting from the sensor to the thermostat as soon as I wake up but that seems counter to the nest goal of automating the heating system for comfort and conservation. Plus I have to get up earlier rather than control the system through software choices.
It seems like a not unreasonable request to be able break the "night" predefined schedule block into smaller intervals, say 11pm - 5am? If that's too much of a programmatic change, how about just ending it earlier, or making it totally user definable?
Thanks
