Nest termostat isn’t cooling set at 77. Temp is 82. Says 2 plus hrs

My best termostat is set at 77.    Best reads 82.  Reads 2 plus hrs.  What to do

Hi if your ac is cooling sometimes because AWAY might have kicked in it will take that long for the thermostat to reach that target temp. Then you can fine tune features

@Ohiou1973, thanks for bringing this to our attention, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. I want to check if you are still in need of any help. If so, please answer the following: 

1. Where are you located? From North America or Europe?
2. What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
3. When was the thermostat installed?
4. Do you have other active Nest thermostats? If yes: Do they show the same?
5. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps? If yes: Would you mind listing them?

Also, if you have either the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat E, go to its Settings, then Technical Info, and then Network to gather its Signal strength value.
