Nest thermostat Gen 3 battery issue

I have a 3rd gen nest thermostat and I am having a low battery issue, I have to frequently charge it.  Can I trade it in and a new one or there is an option to replace battery

How is it wired?

Is there a C wire installed?

I don’t believe the c wire is installed.  Is there a way I can share the picture?

Not sure how that is wired, but adding a C wire or the Google Nest Power Connector should solve the low battery issue.
