Hi, so I have been using the nest thermostat fine for year, I recently have a new boiler fitted so need to change from system boiler to combi. After carrying out factory reset to do this. I can no longer contact the thermostat to the app. I have tried everything I can find out this site, but nothing seems to work. I can use the boiler fine with the thermostat, so know that's all fine. But just cant get the thermostat to speak to my phone. I get so far in the set up process and then it comes up with choose number from the display, I just get a spinning wheel and no number on the display. Any help would be appreciated

I’m having exactly same issue. The app on the mobile and termostat lost communication? The only way I can turn on central heating, by setting manually time schedule on the actual app. It took me while to figure this out but but it worki on my one.

Same issue its been happening on an off few few weeks now it's completely useless

I just wondering if replacing newest version will make difference or the app is gone from all devices ? The technical support is useless and can get any information. Have you any idea ?

Hi all, ive found a solution that worked for me, after hours wasted, it turned out I just needed to restart my phone, worked straight away after that. Hope it helps you all
