My Nest thermostat is associated with WRONG home. How do I move that to the appropriate home in the APP only? I only want to move this within the app, -the physical thermostat is in the right place.

I have the same problem. Under "device information", "home" is grayed out, so i can't move it to the right house.

Has anyone gotten an answer to this? after the migration from the Nest app to the Google Home app I have the same issue.

I have this same problem and can't find the answer.  I have removed it and re-added it back to the Nest account multiple times and it always attaches to the wrong house in Google Home!

The solution is to sign out of all your nest accounts and google accounts on your smart phone. Create a new google account specifically for the second home. Share access to the second home to the new account from your primary account. Sign into the secondary account and the secondary account only. Use it to setup up the Nest. Sign out of the secondary account. Sign back into your normal nest and google accounts.

It should not be this much of a headache. Shame on Nest and Google.

In case somebody at google thinks this is a solution i am here to say there is no way i will do this. I’ll get rid of the nest first.

Yes. I need to be able to move my nest thermostat from Home A to Home B in Google Home in at most 8 taps and without leaving the app.  Until I trash the whole system.

Wow this is another example of unthinkably bad planning and QC by Google.  Abysmal.
