I use my nest in a very basic way, by manually either switching eco mode on or off. It is suddenly not working this evening, the screen shows 19 degrees as intended temperature but is remaining grey instead of turning orange and the eco leaf is remaining visible.
I can still switch the heating on manually via the heat link, so it isn't a problem with the boiler.
- home/away is off
- eco temp is set to 9 degrees
- I tried a full reset - removed the device and repaired it
Any other suggestions?

Hi KristyJaneB,
Thanks for contacting us about your Nest thermostat. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
After using manual mode on the Heat Link to turn on heating, it's important to turn it off by pressing the Heat Link's button twice. This ensures your thermostat can control heating again.
If your boiler only works in manual mode:
If your boiler works in manual mode but there's no error code,
Let us know how it goes.

hi, the problem was that the thermostat's internal temperature was seemingly incorrect, I have no idea why or how. it was reading 19 when it was definitely NOT that temperature inside.
it seems to be ok now, but not sure how that happened.
