Nest thermostat problem

Just got a nest it’s all fitted however the thermostat is just coming up with.

please remove the thermostat from its base then reattach it.

• no matter how many times I do what it says it just won’t connect just brings same message on. 
  Please remove thethermostat from itsbase, then reattach it.

Have you checked the pins on the back of the thermostat, are they all straight?

Purchased from a retail shop?

Yeah they was all straight I’ve took it back got a replacement all works fine now
