My Nest thermostat stopped working a couple of days ago. I contacted the online chat and they talked me through some troubleshooting and couldn’t resolve the issue and it was raised to second line support. I’m still waiting to hear back from them.
I have today found out via a Facebook post them at Google have switched off the smart connectivity and the Thermostat will no longer work via the app or Alexa.
I would like to take a formal complaint!

People have been complaining about this to Google, locla authorities, right-to-repair groups etc for more than 6 months. No response whatsoever.
Google likes creating e-waste, and they don't care.
