Nest thermostat to a Lennox Furnace

Hello all,

looking for a wiring picture from the furnace wiring board of anyone who successfully installed a Nest thermostat to a Lennox furnace EL296UHV. I’ve read a lot of post saying it can be done and I also agree it can be done I would like some photographs of the wiring to confirm that I’m doing it correctly and won’t hurt my system

Lennox uses a proprietary interface called iComfort that is incompatible with any of the Nest Thermostats.

Luckily they also have a 24Vac interface on the control board in the furnace/air handler.

First, you need to figure out which interface your system is using, and then you need to figure out which of the terminals on the control board need to be connected.

I would recommend that you bring in an HVAC tech to do this.
