Nest thermostat turns condenser off/on

Hi,

I am attempting to install my Nest gen 3 but the condenser outside keeps turning off and on. No air is coming out. I believe I wired the thermostat right? Any help?

Oh, I forgot to mention that the base station is not charging/powering the Nest.

Here is a photo of the original wiring layout.

@Rbucki

You have the Nest wired wrong.

You can't go by the wire colors as there is no standard.

Try this wiring,

Blue - W to W1

Red = RH to Rc (jumper to RC not needed)

Yellow - Y to Y1

Green - G to G

The white and brown wires are unused and should be taped off at the thermostat.

I would suggest using the brown wire and connecting it to both ends' C terminals.

@Rbucki , you have what appears to be a conventional system. Your heating wire on W is blue.  You appear to have a white wire not being used?
