I wired my thermostat the same way the previous thermostat was connected. I keep getting this error screen. image.jpg

Hi Natalymartinez,

I'm sorry if you have to go through this. We'd like you to have a better experience with your Nest thermostat. Let's sort this out.

  • Make sure that the power breakers are on.
  • Check and tell us the power status from Technical Info.
  • Ensure that all the wires of your thermostat are seated firmly in their terminals (with no loose or exposed wires).
  • Check the air filter. A clog in the air filter can limit how much air flows, which causes the system to shut off.

Try the steps here:

  • Turn off the breaker and move the Rh wire to the Rc terminal.
  • Also, please send us pictures of your previous thermostat wiring diagram and of your Nest thermostat.

Looking forward for your response.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Natalymartinez,

I'm checking back in. Were you able to do the steps above? I'd be glad to hear from you — I'd like to make sure everything is working.

Best regards,

Mark
