Nest updated my thermostat 8.5 hours ago and now it is just Black and will not light up or turn on!!

Almost 9 hours ago Nest updated my thermostat - since then it will not turn on or light up - it's just Black!!!!!!!!!!

It's hot here and because of their "update" Nest is cooking us because we now have no air conditioning!!!!!

WTF!!!!!!!

I've written to nest 5 times about it 

I've requested help online 7 times.

I've asked for a phone call.

I GET NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!

NO FEEDBACK OF ANY KIND AND WE'RE COOKING!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for letting us know about your Nest Thermostat that won't turn on. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

To confirm, did you notice, or does your thermostat show that it's updating? If so, pull the thermostat display from its base and remove the batteries for at least 2 minutes before plugging them back in to refresh. Then, ensure that all wires are still properly connected and the tabs are pushed down. Also, please check that the power from your HVAC system at the breaker is turned on.
