Nest wiring help

hello - trying to get my Nest to work with current HVAC wiring and not having any luck. Below is a picture of the old wiring. Would anyone be able to confirm if it is compatible with Nest and what the wiring connections should be for the Nest? Many thanks.

E1 and E2 wires indicate a proprietary system that is not compatible with Nest Thermostats. Strictly speaking you could consult with a local HVAC technician who may be able to rewire your system to be compatible, but your mileage is going to vary with that.
