Unfortunately, the only method Google Nest provides for contacting them is via the link below. Depending on your location and the time of day, you may be offered the option of a phone call.

Do you have pics of the existing wires and connections to your existing thermostat?
If you upload pics how it is wired now we can help get it working.
Also what type of system do you have?
Hot air heat with ducts and AC? Or do you have a boiler with hot water radiators etc?
We need more info to help you.

It is a oil burner furnace and air conditioning system. There are nine wires in total and there were several wires that were not used initially. The person who wired the house did not do a very good job.

If you have the Nest mirror type tstat with only one R then you would need to put a relay down by the oil burner to make it turn it on.
The air conditioning wires will go to R Y G C
Then the 2 wires from oil burner go to W and C.
Then at oil burner you have to wire the relay so that the W and C from nest go to the coil of the relay. When nest wants heat the coil gets power and switches on the relay.
Then put the 2 wires coming from oil burner to the normally open terminals of the relay.
When relay is triggered the 2 wires connect turning on the heat.
If you have the Nest Learning thermostat it has Rh and Rc terminals and can work without the relay needed.
So let us know what Nest you have by looking at the base terminals.
