New NEST/Google installation switching modes

I just received a box of NEST/Google thermostats from Jackson EMC. It is in heat mode and can't seem to get it into cool mode. May have a wire not right. I seems to work fine as a Heat thermostat but not as a cooling thermostat.

Thanks for reaching out. I'd love to know more about this. 

Could you share a photo of your current thermostat's wiring? 

Give these steps a whirl:

1. Ensure that the wires are connected properly
2. Remove the thermostat display from its base and check if any connector pins are bent.
