New Router/Password Thermostat offline

Had new router, network, password installed today in home of mine in another state.  Have neighbors there trying to connect it for me.  Is it possible to get it connected without me being there with phone/app to get it reconnected?

Hi DK31, 

Thanks for reaching out to us. It is not possible for you to remotely connect your Nest app where your thermostat is added, as it requires scanning a QR code or entering the thermostat's entry key as you set it up. However, your neighbors can connect to the network since they are just near the area.
