Newbie Nest Question

I just installed my first Nest Learning thermostat. I created a schedule. I them manually turned the A/C down a couple degrees cooler. How long will it stay on that set point? How do I return to the programmed schedule? Thanks.

If you manually change the temperature setting on the thermostat, I should stay at that temperature until the next scheduled temperature change.
