Next update matters...

Hello,

It is definitely unclear which products and which regions will be able to update their Nest Learning Thermostat when the next update, supporting Matter protocol, will be available.

In Europe, it seems we are stuck to 5.9.5-2 and version 6 is not available (who knows why?).

So if EU won't be eligible for future updates... doesn't matter when Matter is here.

Or can we expect to get a future update, including Matter?

And, yes, I know that thermostats automatically update via OTA. The question is not how the update will happen, but if there will be an update at all...
