Having issues with Nest not coming on when the heat temp is set. It only states how long to reach heat with nothing coming on. Anyone having the same issue?
Yes, same for me. The heat pump runs but no access to aux heat. I can trigger aux heat when testing so I know it does work. Thermostat does not seem to recognize the need for additional heat to bring temp up from a cold state.
Same for me. I have 2 nest one upstairs and one downstairs and both are doing the same thing. In the morning and my house is freezing because no air is blowing. I am constantly in the google app manually adjusting the temp to get them to turn on.
Similar issue with new nest learning thermostat. Started to blow heated air with heat on when changed set up under heat pump from O to B. My mistake was clicking "I don't know" and defaulted to O. Also check equipment pic to make sure all wires are seated and recognized. Hope this helps.
