Hi All
May have added this post into the wrong section, but could not find one to do with the water.
We have recently moved into our new house that has two Nest thermostats (one in the hallway, one in the kitchen)
We have been left instructions from the previous owners. The Kitchen controls the kitchen underfloor heating & the Hallway controls the rest of the house's heating + the hot water.
A few days in, we reset the Nest system, however have someone reset the hot water function. We have managed to reset the heating scheduling, however have searched and searched for info on how to schedule the hot water, and we are now without it.
I think the problem stems from the model of Nest (no idea on how to even check which model it is!). The app we have does not have a hot water icon, it is just the two thermostat icons. Have even gone through the "Equipment" and hot water is not listed there.
I have found the heat link in the garage (there are two?) and on pressing these this seemed to stimulate the hot water, but not for long.
Can anyone help 1. to help me get the hot water back, 2. to schedule the water, 3. an idiot's guide to this!!
Additional info - (Display 3.4, Software 6.4-8 (does this mean anything to anyone?)
Thanks in advance
A desperate new Nest owner.

I am assuming you have a 3rd Gen thermostat as you have H/W. Upload a picture and that will confirm.
Follow this...
Settings - Equipment - Continue - Pro Set up - Continue - System Boiler - Alter The Heating Page as you wish - Continue - H/W page make sure it's set to On/Off - Continue - Done
This is the most important setting H/W page make sure it's set to On/Off
