No Power to Nest Heat Link

Christmas Day and we can’t heat our home because the Nest Heat Link has decided to die. No power to the Heat Link anymore and it has been connected to the boiler with no issues up until this point. The Nest app shows error code H71. Typical of all days for it to happen, it would be Christmas Day. Messaged Google on Messenger as not open to take calls or chat because it’s Christmas either. Freezing!

Are you OK doing a little by pass on the heat link? Fit a link between term L & 2, but that will be on 24hr, you will have to isolate via the heat link isolator switch, and obviously you will have no thermostat control. Just gets the boiler fired up. Just make sure you keep an eye on the temperature, as you have no control at all other than manually turning the switch on and off..
