No heating

My thermostat is turning orange as normal and saying it’s heating but my boiler is not firing up and the radiators are cold! Please help

Do you have a Heat Link?

Answer yes...... can you hear a click in the box when calling for heat?

What colour lights on the box?

Yes I do and I can here it click…The light is green!?

That’s a good start, you may have the contacts stuck.

Have you pressed the button and tried the manual way to test the heating?

I would try a factory reset, as that sometimes clears. Failing that call Nest, and they will sort you out.

Test by crossing the red and white wires, if the heat comes up something is wrong with the nest. details are in this 3 year old post, on Reddit.

Had this problem with two Nest Thermostats, both have failed. Never had this issues with the Learning version. Looking into something more reliable

Thanks for reaching out. If you hear a click sound coming from the Heat Link each time you turn off/on your heating, then the issue is most likely not with Nest. I recommend to call out a Nest Pro or a local installer to take a look at your heating system.
