No hot water - heat link seems faulty

Our hot water is not working but heating is. The Nest thermostat is not powering on. It seems as though the heat link is not sending any signal to electricity/power to the thermostat for hot water.

We have had an electrician over who has suggested that the heat link requires replacing.

I have this same issue. Heating works fine but hot water not sending signal to boost hot water. Electrician has said there's not voltage on the heatlink when sending the hot water request, but there is on heating. Heatlink faulty perhaps.
