No option to migrate account

While setting up my new Nest thermostat, the Google Home app asked if I had other Nest devices already. The answer is yes, I have 3 Nest Protects that we installed a couple of years ago. 

It told me I had to go to the Nest app and migrate my account. But there is no option anywhere in the Nest app to migrate my account. I read the instructions carefully, watched the video, and looked at all the account and settings options. No migrate at all.

I went ahead and set up the thermostat anyway. I'm guessing I'll have to remove the Protects from my Nest account and set them up over again in Google Home. Is that true, or can I actually migrate?

Update: I tried removing one Protect alarm from the Nest app and adding it in Google Home, but was told I still had to add it in the Nest app. So it seems I still have to solve this migration issue.
