Please help my thermostat is not getting power in the Rh wire but if I remove the wire then the heat does not work. Since it doesn’t get power the thermostat battery dies and doesn’t work with google home because the WiFi disconnects. I have both rc and rh wires are connected to my nest learning thermostat 3rd gen the rc wire is getting power but the rh is not however they both read 27 vac so now I’m wondering why it is saying that it’s not getting power.

Hi Blakerusso9,
Thank you so much for posting in this community. I'm sorry to hear your Nest Learning thermostat is having power troubles. Don’t worry; I'm happy to assist you.
The Rh wire, which supplies power to the thermostat, is detected, but it's less power than expected. Check out this article: Troubleshoot Nest thermostat help codes and follow the instructions; if the trouble persists, you can contact a professional installation and service company.
Also, Google Nest thermostats don't require jumper wires for installation, unlike many other thermostats. In this case, you need to connect only one wire in the terminal RH or RC to supply power to this device. For more information, read this article: Learn about thermostat jumper wires.
If you have more questions, feel free to reply to this post.
Best regards,
Daniel
