I posted the following message more than a week ago:
“I need support to unlock my Nest thermostat. I forgot my PIN. I also switched internet providers, so not able to access the Thermostat from my app. I read a previous thread and able to connect the nest to my computer through USB. What is the next step to unlock. Appreciate your help.
I was told to follow steps to connect my nest device to my computer to locate the technicalinfo.PLIST file, which I did. I was told that to protect your privacy, the next steps cannot be shared publicly here in the community, but that my information was shared this with the Google Nest community team, who can assist further. I’m yet to receive any communication from the Google Nest community team and as such not able to use my nest device. Very disappointed. Does anyone in this forum have suggestions on how to proceed further. Appreciate the support.

You would need to get the file from a nest support rep , if you contact them directly
https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp?hl=en
And tell them you need the file , they will be able to help you.
