Not cooling properly

We have had the nest for several years without any problems.  However, we just switched to cooling and the fan runs, but it won’t cool beyond 78 degrees.  When I go to setting to try and change the “cool to” input - it won’t let me move it below 76.  Please advise.

@Lmandrews76 , have you received any other system warning messages? The over time learns the performance of your HVAC system given the humidity and ambient temperatures of both indoor and outdoor.  When the system cooling performance falls short of past performance, the Nest report this to your email account. This is usually a signal for a service call to clean the coils, inspect for signs of any leakage.

No, there have not been any other messages. Also, our heat was working just fine.  We also had an HVAC guy here a few months ago and he replaced the motor and cleaned the furnace.  I can’t seem to get it off Eco mode.  It won’t let me adjust the temp because it is eco, but I can’t get that off.

The furnace is a separate part and has nothing to do with the cooling evaporator other than the blower fan motor.  Do yourself a favor, start your AC, go outside or inside. You want to fill the temperature of the two copper lines. The little one should be pretty hot and the larger one, wrapped in the foam, should beer can cold say 50°F. You can check this at the air handler if it is easy to get to.

Figured it out!  Embarrassed to say the condenser breaker had blown.  All fixed and have cool air.  Thank you for responding and helping to problem solve!
