Not shutting off ac.

My ac is not shutting off. I know it's hot and have a new heating and ac system. Had ac guy come out say ac is running fine. But the thermostat will not shut off

I appear to be having a similar issue. I also lost visibility to my energy history so I can’t see how long it ran yesterday, etc.

Thanks for reaching out to the community! I see that you've been experiencing some issues with your AC not shutting off and also with being unable to see the energy history for your thermostat. I can definitely help with this.

Before we move forward, could you share a few details with me:

  • What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
  • When did the issue start?
  • Are there any error messages? If so, what are they exactly?
  • Is this a new installation?
  • When was the last maintenance check for your HVAC system?
  • Does the issue happen with heating only, cooling only, or both?
  • Have you checked the power readouts on the Nest thermostat?
  • Do you have a common wire or C wire?

Now, regarding your issue, @Lionsphan, could you please check again if you're able to see your energy history? We understand that there was an emerging issue about it, but we have already resolved it! Please check again and let me know if you are still encountering this issue.
