Old nest blowing hot when in AC mode

We have had the nest learning thermostat since 19 or 20 woth no issue. Went to switch to ac and it's blowing hot.  It's not the wiring as nothing has changed.  Any ideas? Not sure where to go from here.

Hi SaraSchrader,

 

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'm sorry for the delay. I'd like to know more about it. A few questions: in what country are you located? Do you see any messages or codes on your thermostat or in the app? Were you able to try to switch from AC to heating to check if it will reverse the temperature? If not yet, please do so. It will help us to further identify where the issue is coming from. 

 

Also, try restarting your thermostat by going to Settings > Reset > Restart.
