OpenTherm hot water control with ActoSTOR

We've just switched to a Combi that has Vaillant ActoSTOR tanks on the back. I was wondering what the lower value on the attached screenshot actually refers to (the 42c?)

 ?

Hello there @chrispage92

Thanks for posting. Can you please let me know if the Bacteria Prevention and True Radiant features are on at the moment?

Many thanks, Oana.

Hi, yes true radiant is on. I don't think bacteria is applicable for this setup and can't seem to find it anywhere so I'd say it's off.

Thanks,Chris.

Thank you for the information. Just to check, is the combi system you have an OpenTherm system?

It is OpenTherm yep 👍🏻

Hi there @chrispage92! The lower value that you see is the temperature of the water in the tanks at the moment. You can find more about the Domestic Hot water which has some information about the OpenTherm as well, here

Thanks, Larisa.

Hi there, just checking in to see if you still need our assistance.

Hi,

I think I'm good thank you.. not quite sure why it's not keeping up to temperature but that's not Nests problem! Thanks, chris.
