1. I have 3 PTACS w/ Hydronic heat - the building supplies the heat, the PTAC unit controls an actuator that controls heat through the coils allowing the PTAC to blow hot air.
2. When "Cool" mode is used in Winter (when building has hydronic heat turned on), the PTAC compressor is triggered, actuator closes to prevent hot water from heating up pipes and blowing warm air.
3. The problem = When "Heat" mode is used in Winter (also when building has hydronic heat turned on), it triggers the PTAC to close actuator (like it's running the compressor) and fans to turn on. IF I manually get the nest to run 'FAN' for 15min (or any set time), it doesn't trigger the actuator.
The ASK: Is it possible to configure my nest to JUST trigger the fans in Heat mode without triggering the Actuator. This way I can use "Heat and Cool" mode without having to always adjust my Nest.
Any help is appreciated!
