Pairing I phones

I can’t pair another phone with my nest app

You wouldn't pair another phone.  Once the nest thermostat is setup it's ready.  As for adding another phone, does that phone use the same google account or is it separate?  If the same account, simply log in.  If a separate account, you would go into Google home, settings, and add a user from there.
