Hello - I just installed my thermostat. Everything is working great and the installation was fantastic.
Just had a question about the sticker on the product. Should I keep scratching it off or was I not supposed to scratch this part off (see bottom right corner in the picture):
Thanks in advance for your help with this!

Hi,
I have the very same problem and I stopped trying to remove it in order to not damage the product. Looking forward to a response from an expert!

Hi folks,
Thanks for the photo you sent. The plastic at the bottom part of the Nest Learning Thermostat is part of the design. This is also not a crack, but rather a separation line between the 2 pieces of plastic that make up the face of the thermostat. The main piece of plastic is the main display lens for aesthetics and is an outer layer of finish to the product. The bottom sensor is a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor Fresnel lens that allows the sensors to function correctly.
Please let us know if you still have questions or concerns, as we'll be willing to assist you further.
Regards,
Jenelyn
